Under the name of IRPC there is Andrea Iuliano, a senior process consultant of refinery processes & engineering. After the professional degree of chemical engineer at Naples University and some years spent as a teacher and an R&D technician, I caught  30 yrs experiences on refinery.

I have started engaged by an Italian Oil Company working at headquarters, then at refineries reaching the position of refinery technology manager.

My extensive experience has been reached through the field, troubleshooting, engineering and process evaluations around units from CDU, VDU to thermal & catalytic cracking units, to reformers & HDS, to sulphur recovery, to alky & isomerization, to etherification units and storage.

I have carried out over 50 projects with success, of which eleven in the last  years as an independent process consultant in cooperation to other senior engineers. Revamp studies have been performed around refinery units from CDU, VDU, to thermal & cracking units, etc.

The main objectives are energy saving, yields improvement, throughput rise and units optimisation.
